If you're a frequent user of JustDubs you probably noticed our site was down for over 24 hours. This is not something that happens typically. Our hosting company made an error while processing our payment. There was some sort of issue with the credit card company. Anyway, just wanted to give you all an update and remain transparent. I know there was some crazy rumors going around. This shouldn't happen again. Thanks for being a loyal Justdubian!

Hello Community!

With all the work being done in fixing videos on JustDubs, we have now publicly begun accepting user-submitted streams and downloads. While we have always accepted this form of help, we have never created an official thread.

If you would like to help please refer to our thread located in the Anime Requests section. Typically, we prefer videos to be uploaded to one of the following hosts: Putlocker, UploadC, Veevr, Facebook, YourUpload, and several others. Once you have uploaded a series to one/multiple of these sites submit them to one of our official Content Managers via the forums. Please follow the rules and format of the user-submissions thread closely as it will be heavily moderated. While we appreciate help from all users, we are not looking to "train" any users in uploading.

Over the past few weeks, drastic changes have occurred in the world of online streaming entertainment and will affect JustDubs immensely. Despite these events, the team plans to continue the effort to provide our users with streaming english-dubbed anime series. With that said, even more important changes (good and bad) have occurred within Just Anime Network forcing us to make adjustments to JustDubs. This post outlines some of the most important changes to the network and its sites.

1. Certainly the most unfortunate change has been the resignation of two of our dedicated administrators: Wolfe and Rewrite.

Rewrite founded JustDubs (formerly NarutoEngDub) back in April of 2007 and has long since administrated and proactively maintained the community. Without her efforts we would not be where we are today, much less even exist! She was always kind, always willing to help, and always acted in what she thought was best for the site. As the years have gone by Rewrite is a person I truly consider a friend and I hope some of you have gotten to know her as one too. As she parts from the site, I wish her the best of luck in her future endeavors.

Wolfe began his work on the site in 2008 and gave us a serious, must-needed upgrade on our website. He was the guiding hand in many affairs on staff and always conducted himself respectfully and appropriately. To me, he is a role model. The efforts of creating our mascot (Kami), establishing ourselves as an LLC, and re-inventing ourselves among other anime websites were certainly all operations led by Wolfe (among other things). Over the years, he has taught me many skills and I respect him more than anyone I've ever met online. Need it be said, he's a good friend. His professional attitude, leadership capabilities, and unmatched vigor will certainly lead him somewhere far in life.

So what does this mean? Well as stated earlier, JustDubs will continue to exist. Unfortunately, since we lost Wolfe, we will not be redesigning existing layouts or creating new sub-sites of JAN for some time. Furthermore it means that I will be taking on a whole new list of responsibilities that were originally managed by both Wolfe and Jenna. In other words, there's going to be a learning curve. We have not decided to take on any new network administrators for the time being.

In addition with our two administrators, we have also lost Colme (JustReviews Admin), Nextday (Content Manager), and Ray13 (Content Manager). All of these staff members made huge impacts on our staff and served loyally. We are more than thankful for all their efforts.

2. As aforementioned, we have lost Colme, the administrator of JustReviews. This leaves Animeshogun13 as the remaining administrator and he has a lot to deal with on his plate as well. We have no future plans for JustReviews as far as redesigning goes although reviews will continue to be posted.

The future of JR is unknown, but more reports will be posted in the near future.

3. Despite all of this bad news, we do have some good news! With the destruction of Megavideo and the loss of thousands of series, we had a lot cut out for us. Dubbinz, an affiliate anime streaming website, was facing a similar situation. The administrator (steveyk) got in contact with us and we decided to merge sites in hope to overcome this devastation.

As we speak, we are working together with Dubbinz to replace all of our existing broken series. We will be moving their whole database of series onto our website. We estimate this process to take between 1-2 months. At the end of this process, we will have a number (~50) of additional series on the website. While this switch is occurring, all ongoing series will be put on a temporary hold. This does not mean that new episodes will not be added, but fixing current series and transferring the Dubbinz database is the main concern right now.

Steveyk, a former JustDubs volunteer, will now assume the role as one of the Site Directors. He will bring along a team of three other individuals: bedheadred, Stormking1, and Krudda. All of them will be Content Managers and possibly assume other responsibilities on the site. I look forward to working with them and can already tell they're going to positively impact JustDubs tremendously. Steveyk is an awesome uploader and has an awesome team he works with. I know the rest of the staff is just as excited as myself.

While this transition occurs, let's welcome the Dubbinz community and its staff. I know the Dubbinz community has many concerns about the change, but if you need any help adjusting feel free to post in the forums and the chat room.

I know this post is bittersweet, but this is a rebirth of JustDubs and I'm hopeful for our future. More changes to the network will be announced in the future, but I found it crucial to inform the community now, while the changes are occurring, rather than later.

As you may have read, both MegaVideo and MegaUpload were shut down today by the United States federal government (more info). You may have noticed that a large amount of content that JustDubs linked to was hosted by MegaVideo and MegaUpload. What this means to you is that you can no longer access any of the videos that were being hosted by MegaVideo. The JustDubs staff, however, is committed to you and we are working to replace these links so that you can get access to those videos again. Please be patient with us as we try to resolve this issue as quickly as we can.

The official Code Geass website has revealed that a new Code Geass original video animation is coming sometime this year. The spin-off, titled Code Geass: Nunnally in Wonderland, will be released straight to Blu-ray and DVD and will be bundled with a 40-page book which recounts the story.

Returning to the staff from the original Code Geass are character designer Takahiro Kimura, composer Notaro Nakagawa and scriptwriter Yuuichi Nomura. Kimura will also take on the role as animation director. Makota Baba will be directing the project.
